The humanitarian division of YOPAT focuses on children in need globally through programs for health, education, poverty, environment and child protection.
Our Mission: is to create partnerships in the world with sustainable community initiatives, bringing our cultures together. Education our youth to value cultures different from their own and extend needed support by making them aware if global issues.
We are committed to reach the youth in Haiti:
Children have been killed and injured; still many are in desperate need. More than half of the country’s 9.6 million inhabitants are under 21 years of age.
The earthquake has destroyed even that meager educational system. School buildings have been flattened and thousands of teachers are either dead, missing or long gone from the city.
